HIKING & NATURE
The greatest treasure of the Erzgebirge is its nature-loving and home-loving people, who make the hospitality unique.
The Erzgebirgskammweg was opened as a long-distance hiking trail as early as 1904. Today, the Ore Mountains region is one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Germany.
You will also find sports facilities such as Oberwiesenthal and Altenberg, which are associated with big names in sport, such as Jens Weißflog, Silke Otto and Ulrich Wehling.
